Default airbag light. ....

So the past few days I have had intermittent encounters with my dashboard airbag warning light. It will come on when the truck is started, then go off for about 3 seconds, then come back on and stay solid. I am going to the dealer this weekend, but I was hoping you guys had an easy quick fix or at least a way to isolate the problem...

Thank you!!!

Thanks for reaching out about this, The_YETI. What's the model year and current mileage of your truck? Please let me know how it goes with the dealer moving forward; I'll be happy to look into any additional options, if necessary.

I am using the app....idk why it isn't showing my signature.

It's a 2011, STX.

It seems to have gone away.....

I reached under the drivers seat and moved my gloves, a plastic bag, and some other small things... now the light is gone

Sounds like a resistance issue on a circuit for one of your airbags. Do you have a scanner?

Very common issue with the end release seat belt buckle at the harness connector under the seat. When my wife's Escape would do the same thing I would unplug it and reconnect it a couple times and it would be fixed.

The connector is yellow and white, mostly yellow.
