Default Aftermarket Grilles

I bumped another car on the freeway and busted up my grill.... I have a 2011 FX4 and the FX4 grill is currently being "redesigned" by Ford. I have called and they do not know when this "redesign" will be complete so they can start shipping out resale grilles for idiots like myself who get into fender benders. Until then, I have decided to look into replacing my grill with an aftermarket one. Any suggestions?

I guess I don't understand your problem. Are you waiting for a redesigned grill or do you just want the grill it came with? Ford is required to make replacement parts for their vehicles so if you want a direct replacement order one from a dealer. Call Tasca Ford. They seem to have the best prices of all the dealers.

You think I haven't checked all dealers? Trust me it is not that simple for the 2011 fx4 6 bar grill... and ya I was changing lanes and all 4 lanes locked up brakes at the same time I was trying to switch... Sucks.

Default Plastic vs metal grilles

I'm looking for some grille recommendations as well. I was looking at some of the plastic aftermarket grilles (like this one) and was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a big difference in quality between the metal or plastic ones? Can anyone tell me if the plastic ones crack or fade after a while?

Default Here's the whole grille kit...

....from Ford....

Contains paint-to-match grille surround, center insert and all hardware.

Around $300 for everything.

What?! That's a great price. I priced out a 13' Lariat grille and was quoted dang near 800$!
