Default Adjustable pedals

Either the brake pedal is too close or the gas pedal is too far away. Does anyone know how to adjust them separately? I think they're run off the same motor but ??

They only adjust as a set. One bracket, one motor.

Actually you CAN change the relationship between the pedals. The drive motor is mounted to the gas pedal and has cable that goes to the brake pedal, where it turns a worm screw. Disconnect the cable from the brake, adjust the gas pedal where you want it ( in relation to the brake) and re-connect the drive cable.

Yeah but you screw up the indexing and can cause failure of either component, not a practical thing to do.

This is the proper procedure,...

I agree totally!! I don't know who designed the pedals but I hope they were fired! It's ridiculous, I have to basically set it for the gas pedal to be right distance, since that's used more of the time, then just put up with brake pedal being way too close.
