additional keys
In case anyone is wondering about adding more keys, I can confirm that any 80 bit key will work. I bought two ford blank 80 bit keys (just the blank key, like from an 04-08 F150), took them to HomeDepot where they cut both for free. I then used my two master remote start key/key fobs to program them. Took less than 30 seconds and I now have 4 keys. 2 are the key fob head with remote start that came with the truck and the other two are just regular old keys. Now I can hide one inside the truck and use my keypad to get in if I ever lose a key while boating or camping. Cost me all of 12 bucks including shipping!
These are the keys I bought, and they even have the blue and white ford raised ford logo on them!

He's only got a few left with this ford logo on them, its cheap insurance and when they are programmed they are in fact MASTER keys, that can be used to program additional keys, not just copies. Next I'm gonna buy a few of the stand alone fobs and program them up as well so I'll have 4 complete keys and fobs.
My 05 F150 only came with one key and I had to pay a locksmith 75 bucks to cut and program the two new keys I bought on Ebay. Don't let this happen to you!
