Looked good.
I just did a search on here with no luck on finding that thread. Does anyone know about the D-Rings from a Dodge that will work with the F150 bed bolts?

You guys that load motorcycles in the back of the bed have more cajones than I. A trailer is so much easier. I will never load a bike in the bed again. Except for maybe my mountain bike, but I have a hitch rack for that too.

Any factory threaded mounting points on the 2012 F150 XLT truck bed?

Hi, I put "D" tie downs in my truck's bed for my generator. I drilled a larger hole in the "D" ring mounts to fit my bed bolts. To keep from losing any threads, I removed the bed bolt washers. To do this, I put the bolts in my drill press and filed the ridge enough to get the washers off. The bed bolts are just long enough to completely thread into the speed nuts. I also installed two smaller "D" rings for the back of my generator [not shown in my pictures] I had to drill holes in my bed for these. I bought all of the "D" rings from E-Bay.

@robertsunrus: what do you mean by "bed bolts". Where are thesse bolts located? Can't see anything here but plastic.

Hi, 21-Lancer; Look at my second picture, I used the two bed bolts closest to my tailgate for the large "D" rings. In the generator picture the bed bolts are covered by rubber mat pieces. These are very strong places to have my "D" rings and no need to drill holes in the bed. For the two smaller "D" rings, I did have to very carefully drill holes for mounting them.

Was checking that picture before, I was sure you drilled there as on mine there are no bolts in that position. Or maybe hidden under that plastic...

Hi, check danbart's post number 8; He has a 6.5' bed and his bolts are in the same place as mine. [bolts near tailgate]

I often haul large bulky items and use a spider-web net to keep things in place. Or if I need to keep gas/propane jugs stood up these work well. I now have 3 rings per side and small caribiners on my web net. I used nutserts in the bed since the 6.5' bed has the lip in the bed just made for this rail on each side and the front, if I didn't have the box in.
