Default Adding OEM backup system

I've searched and can't find the answer. I'm trying to add OEM backup sensors. I got a great deal on the sensors and the harness was cheap. After I got all the items I noticed another component that is needed, PAM(Parking Aid Module) It's located under drivers dash, it's a little box with a speaker.
I'm trying to figure out if there's another harness or connection I need. I want to know if the bumper sensor wires run straight to the module or if the truck is pre-wired for the module.
I would have went aftermarket but like I said it seemed pretty cheap considering what I've spent so far.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Forgot to add I have a 2011 XLT

I added back-up sensors to my truck but I used a kit made by echomaster, bought it at autoanything.com. They supply Ford with there back-up systems. They come with 2 or 4 sensors, control module, alarm speaker, and the wiring. Cost about $160.00 and was easy to install. The one I installed has the wiring running from the sensors to the control module an another harness goes to the alarm speaker. I only used the two sensor system and mounted the sensors in the plastic on either side of the licence plate. Works great.,

I really didn't answer your question in my last post. Here's what I found. My truck was not pre-wired. The system I used had the sensor wires go from the sensor to the control box (right and left). The power harness plugged into the control box and from there to a power supply, in that same power harness was a wire that went to the alarm. This system I used is the same one that Ford sells aftermarket. Here's a link to the one Ford sells for 249$

Hope this helped

Default Echomaster Backup Sensors

How did you bring the wires into the cab? Where did you mount the control box? Did you get power at the tail light or in the harness that runs under the skid plate?

Picked up the power by tapping into back up lights in the back. Ran all wiring down the passenger side frame . Mounted box behind rear seat and ran speaker wire to the front and mounted it under dash. Ran wires in the channel under the door seal.

tennisfam4 Thanks for the info. Older F-150's had a few body plugs to bring in wires. The 2011 I just got has nothing except for the small ones under the doors. Will make it work.
