Does the stock backup camera work/come on a 4.2" sync?

Can an aftermarket camera be added to a 4.2" sync?

 

Does anyone have a backup camera (either stock or aftermarket) that displays on the 4.2" sync?

 

I have the 4.2 and the factory backup cam but it shows upon the mirror not the screen.

 

It would be awesome if it would display on the screen. Can this be done somehow with the factory camera?

 

As far as i know, no. I too am interested in that. HOwever, I chose the truck w/o the backup cam in the rearview, so no i am regretting it. Having trouble finding the correct rear view as im very interested in it.

 

Just FYI, I've seen several pics and videos of the 2014 XLT's with the 4.2" screen and backup camera options, and the camera displays on the SYNC screen.

 

My wifes 14 Escape back up camera shows up on the 4" screen. Mine is in the rear view mirror.

If only I can find the wiring diagram for the 2013 or 2014's with the SYNC 4.2" screen.
