Default Added oem hids

Found some oem hids on Craigslist and my persistence paid off. Scored them for $250 and they were in awesome shape. Bought a harness off eBay for $50 but not a fan one bit. http://m.ebay.com/itm/152505801427
Seems cheaply made and never heard a relay hum. Anyways maybe I need to buck up and buy the morimoto one and call it good or has anyone ever not use a relay and wire it like the factory would have?

Well 1st of all Congrats, I paid $1,300.00 for my set, granted it was back in 13 when they first came out and 2nd, it's Morimoto and yeah if you want them to work properly get it.

I couldn't believe they were that reasonable. The guy was upgrading his truck and put aftermarket ones. Definitely look way cooler and seem to be brighter.

Consider yourself extremely lucky for scoring those OEM HIDs for $250... you'd be lucky to score a single OEM HID for that price lol.

Wiring is different than halogen... need a relay harness. Buy the morimoto harness and hope you dont have issues. Some do and some dont.

I do have the wiring harness with the morimoto relay but bought it has some different wiring harnesses on it. I figured maybe someone had wired one without a relay like it would have came from the factory.
