Default Add FX4 Wheel Lips

Is there a Ford part number for the little black lips around the fenders on FX4's? I have a 2013 XLT SCrew but I want to add the black lips around the wheel wells like on FX4's.
If I can't buy them from Ford, is there something available aftermarket? I don't want big flares, just an inch or so of coverage.

FX4 flares are textured plastic and not painted. If you get ones off of a FX2, Lariat, Platinum, Limited, and I believe King Ranch, they are already body painted the color of the truck. Those look much better IMO.

Right, I'm looking for the contrast of the black against ingot silver. I like the black look personally.

Don't buy new. You can pick up the black textured for fairly cheap. I'm removing mine to replace with ptm ingot silver also and hope to get $100 out of the black ones. Ford will charge you way more for them.

IMO, OEM black textured wheel well "lips" looks great in combo with other FX2/FX4 trim and nicely contrasts to lighter paint colors (such as my Oxford White). As always, personal preference wins but please, don't pimp your F150 truck...

If you have an xlt and want to put the factory flares on you will have to drill to secure them. Someone on here mentioned some aftermarket flares that are same style as factory but you won't have to drill. Wish I would have known that before. I may end up switching to the aftermarket ones because the way I have them now they are a bit flimsy. Just my .02

Don't worry

I like the way it contrasts with Ingot silver. I'm also looking to replace the chrome grill with an FX4 style PTM/black grill. Will probably take the chrome running boards off as well. With tints, it'll be a nice contrasting look.

You can find either oem or aftermarket (identical to oem but are held in place with 3m tape ) on eBay ... I think I paid 75.00 for the full set of oem including hardware ..... If you go oem you will have to drill a few holes in the fenders (yes the metal) .... If I had to do over I'd went with the aftermarket clones with the 3m tape ......As for your grill if you like the style .... snad it down real good and paint it with bed liner black ... its good stuff ..
