Default Access Lorado Issues

So for father's day, my wife got me some gift cards. Decided to pull the trigger on an Access Lorado cover for my 2013 SCREW. Ordered the Lorado 41269 kit (04-14 5.5ft bed) and went to put it on tonight. Put one of the rails up and its about an inch too long and the tailgate won't close. Stickers on the rails match the part number on the box. Anybody seen this before?

Updating with photo. Front of rail is all the way against the front of the bed, but back overhangs. Verified part numbers on the rails and cover match the box. Did I get unlucky and get mis-cut rails?

What about up against the cab? How did that go together?
Any pics?
Btw, The companies customer service, is first class. If it is wrong...they'll make it right, without a question.

Yeah. Planning to call them on Monday. I think the rails were cut incorrectly. They have stickers on them saying 65.5(ish) inches, but when I measured them, they were actually 66.59ish. I thought for a few minutes about cutting the fronts down an inch, but then thought that I'd be screwed if the cover was also an inch too long. Given the great reviews on the Access covers and that their support seems to be fairly active on the boards, I'm sure it will be resolved. Just thought I'd refer to the experts here in case I was doing something incorrectly on the install.

Did you roll the cover back to check it's length?

Finally got out to check the cover length and now I'm convinced that it is just bad cut rails. I laid everything out and it doesn't look like the tension adjusters will fit right with these as the bolt holes look way too close to each other. The label on one of them reads 65.625, but putting a tape measure to it reads just a bit over 66.5 inches. About the same difference on the other side. The impatient guy in me wants to just dremel an inch off and re-drill the holes, but trying to keep myself from making it worse.

I'll be free in 15 minutes. I'll take some pics of mine up front just to see how yours is setup in comparison.
So strange, to be one inch off.

If you haven't called yet, get your serial number off the sticker on the rear bar.

Then call 866-630-8726 and and ask for Eddie in our warranty department. I'm going to send him this thread so that he is expecting you.

Just got off the phone with Eddie and he's getting some new rails cut and sent out. I'm amazed that a company that sells so many of these is actively watching for threads like this. He had the pics before I even called. Big thumbs up Access!

We are glad to help.

To any other ACCESS customers who find this thread and need some help, here's a little video we made on what to do if you've got a warranty issue:
