Yes the evap coil is impacted by the outside temp, when recirc is off, and if you have 100 ambient, it will impact your vent temp to an extent. But the evap temp should still be performing to spec at 36-38 degrees. As far as I know, they are all designed to the same specs regardless of whether they end up in Texas or Alaska! JMO
I'm not disagreeing with you - I quoted the other guy, not you. We don't know OPs evap temp
