AC temp
Problem is, when the Ford Service manual states that the evap temp should be 36-38 degrees and its not performing at that, there is an issue not related to outside temp. (They deemed it a bad temperature probe) That is what I was told by the tech and the service manager when the first box was exchanged in mine. (Observed my performance (44-48) on their IDS System.) The only difference in these systems, IMO, is the location of the owner. ALL systems should be performing the same design spec wise! Yes the evap coil is impacted by the outside temp, when recirc is off, and if you have 100 ambient, it will impact your vent temp to an extent. But the evap temp should still be performing to spec at 36-38 degrees. As far as I know, they are all designed to the same specs regardless of whether they end up in Texas or Alaska! JMO
