A1auto Tow Mirror Fold Out Issues
Installed some A1auto power fold tow mirrors on my 2013 f150 that had the standard mirrors with power adjust. I followed directions from the awesome info on this site and got the drivers side mirror working fine but ran into an issue with the passenger side mirror. The fold in function works fine but when I fold it out it only moves unless I bump the mirror switch. Each bump of the switch moves the mirror slightly so I'm bumping the switch a bunch of times to get the mirror fully extended out again. I checked the wiring, solders, switch etc. for continuity and voltage and it looks like everything is ok. Anyone have any insight on what's happening? Thanks in advance.

These come all set to go. Other than failing to plug it in, there isn't much the consumer can do wrong. Have you contacted 1A? It's 1A, not A1.

My point is it sounds like it may be a fault in the mirror, if you did the wiring well. Did you use a relay? Maybe it is bad.

Do you by chance have a part # for these, every place I call including A1 says they don't have "power folding" for my 2013 FX4. It has power, power folding, signal, puddle and memory.

Here's an example. But it says out of stock. They seem to change their product line constantly.
