Been a long time lurker, long time Ford guy. Brought this home friday to go along with my black 2007 XLT 5.4. Still figuring out all the things this truck can do! Ecoboost, 402A, tailgate step, etc.

Is there a fuel mileage break in period? Truck only has 130 miles on it. So far other than my 03 Cobra this is the best vehicle I've ever owned in the short time I've had it haha.

As for the mileage...give it time as she'll slowly get better. Mine was ok around 5k miles on winter blend but now that we're on summer blend and I've rolled over 10k miles it's getting better. I've heard guys state anywhere from 7-10k miles until the mileage got good. Drive it like you stole it (occasionally) to let those rings seat, etc.

Congrats! You got the last year the F150 will offer the FX4 trim and also have the new suspension. FX4 will just be an optional add-on for the 2015+, but you prolly already knew that. Hope your new truck serves you well!

Congrats on the truck! My FX4 should be here in a few weeks. What are the details on your 03 Cobra? I had a 2003 10th anni Cobra in torch red. Wow I miss that car.

Nice truck. Also from the Mustang family. My 5.0L took about 20,000 +/- miles before I really stopped seeing mileage improvement, pretty minor improvement though.

PS: Also really like that finger in the picture! :P

Thanks everybody! Had a factory ordered 03 silver cobra. Major add ons were a ported 2.76 eaton, BAP, SCT tune, billetflow pulley's and IRS brace, RAM clutch, etc. Ran it to 11.48 in the 1/4 and stopped there cause i didn't want to put a 6 point in it. I loved that car!

I did jump on this truck before the 15's to grab the last FX4 and suspension and looks like i was so excited my fat thumb jumped in the pic. I will say this truck takes the cake out of all the F150's i've had. Taking the long way everywhere
