I've seen Skyjackers kit. They come with add a leafs which is almost as bad as blocks. You're changing the angle of the driveshaft no matter what you do. You're changing the angle of how it was originally meant. I've seen Skyjackers spindles, they are no where near as beefy as Rancho or BDS. Plus Ranchos crossmember drop bracket is welded for strength.

I had a SkyJacker on my 2007 F150 FX4 with full leaf packs and they squeaked. Horrible squeak! I went back and forth with SkyJacker and they wouldn't do anything for me.
Plus, if I remember correctly you lose your payload with the SkyJacker springs, but I might be mistaken.
I helped a buddy with a block install and said if I did another I would do blocks.
Well I am doing another, with Blocks. Axle wrap is a concern but even with the full leafs I ran long bars. I will run long bars again to keep axle wrap in check.
BDS gets my vote and I have the coil over kit coming now. Have a set of ProComp traction bars coming as well to install at the same time.

The Skyjacker lift doesn't decrease payload; it increases it by 10%. I've had 3,400 lbs of concrete in the back and it sat almost level...definitely heavier duty than stock.
My vote would be Skyjacker springs in the rear (silicon lube fixes the squeak) with Rancho steering knuckles up front that allow for 17" wheels (or any other steering knuckles that work with 17" wheels).
