5100 Billy Installed
Yesterday I had a shop install the shocks on the front of my truck and do an alignment. They take in the shop and call me about 3 hours later. I come in and find the following.
1. The truck pulled the the right.
2. The rear shocks were in upside down.
3. The tech set the shocks to the highest setting.
I had a conversation with the tech before he did the work. I told him that I set the rings on the shocks to 1.5 which should equate to about 2 inches of lift. He changed to the 2.25 height. The service manager then proceeds to tell me that I just change my mind and that it wasn't the techs fault. He was telling me I would have to bring it back in for the work to be corrected.
I normally do this stuff myself by I'm having surgery today and just don't have time to do it. So, now my truck is higher in the front than in the rear. Why are people in service centers so f'ing stupid these days?

lol... number 2 makes me laugh most.
I'm thinking about adding the airbag system to rear. I plan on pulling a boat and will need it anyway. I don't know if it's worth having it taken back apart and aligned again. I plan on putting new wheels on next year and will fill the wheel well out as well.
