You definitely have the 6.5 from the pic in your gallery. The extra length is between the cab and the rear wheel its easy to spot once you look. I wish I would have got the 6.5 bed, I really prefer the look of the 6.5 bed.

Different strokes for different folks. I went with the 6.5 bed because I don't want to buy a trailer, too. I also felt like the longer wheelbase rode nicer after driving several different trucks. Might as well buy a SUV at that point. That one foot seems to make a huge difference, especially when you have a tool box like I do.

It seems the longer bed is more common in my area. Out of the 7 trucks I looked at, only 2 were short beds.

Ive posted before about this. I would have preferred a 5.5' bed but am glad I've got the 6.5' bed. The extra foot is noticeable when parking. However it's nice to have the extra bed space

Lol, I understand that. I have a small trailer and have some friends that have some car haulers I can use as well if needed. I would have thought about that I guess if I would have had to buy one, I just keep a bag in the bed of the truck with the hitches and straps so I don't worry about anything else back there taking up space as well. I do like the look of the 6.5 bed though!

Another plus to having the 5.5 bed, I (don't pass out everyone) let my wife drive the truck occasionally....lol

Love the 145"wheel base 4x4. Swing the AMP Research Bed Rail that goes all the way to the end of the tailgate....beautiful.

That's why I was wondering if someone somewhere made a mistake or something. Bought it new with 2 miles on it from my test drive and everything says 5.5' bed. But I know its a 6.5' bed

I prefer the 6.5 bed, until you have one you cant realize the difference it makes.....one of those once you've tried it you never want to go back things......I couldn't pass up the deal on the one i got though so Im ok with the 5.5....only thing on my truck I'm not completely happy with....but i would of had to order one and wasn't that good a deal....

So, did you get charged for the extra $2-300, whatever it is for the 6.5'? The sticker would actually say the wheelbase number, not the bed length.

Definitely prefer the 6.5' myself. Bought mine 800 miles away just to find what I wanted.
