5.5' or 6.5' bed
So according to all the paperwork on my truck and the VIN it's a 5.5' bed. But when i measure from the front of the box to the tailgate it's 6.5'. Am I missing something here?

Also. You'd never be able to swap a bigger box on the difference is the part from the front of the box to the rear wheel. Can spot easy, for me at least, since 6' 5" crew cabs are a little more rare, "most people use trucks as cars, prefer the 5' 5" (dealer quote)

this...also putting it in one of the free VIN decoders should also tell you...funny fact, 5.5 ft has a higher resale value than 6.5 ft......a good example of supply and demand....

Wish I had the 6.5' bed. Anytime I need to actually use my truck for truck things, I end up borrowing my friends beater truck with 8' bed. Kind of ironic...

The pic in your gallery is the 6.5 bed, not sure why the vin says 5.5. I like the 5.5 myself and always figured if I need to haul something bigger than that, it can pull a trailer pretty easy. Lol. Good looking truck by the way, they have their own look to me.

I've always had short box trucks. This is the first truck ive bought with a "longer" bed at 6.5'. I think its perfect for what I do.

Assuming you bought it used, otherwise you would know what you bought...
If it measures 6.5 feet then that's what it is.

Miss my 6.5' bed. Couldn't get their super Crew with as the dealer was trying to get ride of their 14s and wouldn't give the dealer discounts of i found a 6.5' super crew. Oh well still love my truck just can't carry 16' 4x4s in the bed.
