I love my 5.0 just wish the stupid *** CARB rules would sit on this and spin. Would love to pickup a SCT Tuner.

Sorry, I'm not doing a tune until after the warranty is up. Motors are just too expensive to play with like that, and with a tune on there I can't imagine getting warranty work is easy.

I plan on picking up an SCT tuner with some tunes from MPT. They seem well-liked in posts here.
My 5.0 has 3.31 gears. I'd really like to swap for 3.73 but I think I'm going to try a tuner first since I'll need a tuner to change the gear ratio in the computer anyway.

Agreed, no complaints here. I have to be careful if I hit the gas pedal too hard from a stop, I break the Hankook 295 70 r17s loose. I have no power issues with my 5.0. I am averaging 16.8 MPG even with my heavy foot.
