first off ... chill out a bit. people are just having fun.

i mean, you DO understand why a LOT (most) people think tricking out a truck for speed is silly right? Sure ... I can use the butt of a screwdriver to drive nails, but a hammer will always be a better choice for that... right?

Relax!

The reason no one it taking you seriously is because you have the completely wrong truck to worry about performance (speed wise).

You question is basic and can be found in numerous places all over the Internet for basic 0-60 times etc.

Now if you said something to he effect of , I would like to improve performance, does anyone have any suggestions?, they would be flowing in!

If you want faster times, then stiffen up suspension, get a custom tune, pull out as much weight as possible, smaller tires, lighter rims.

This would be a good starting point to up your times.

I think its a relevant question. You guys say get a Lightning if you want a fast truck. My 14' 5.0 4x4 is WAY faster than my Gen 1 Lightning was. And is pretty close to the same HP numbers as early Gen 2s. I will be honest, I'm curious myself. I've been trying to get my wife to line up her 12' R/T Challenger with my F150. Cause she sure doesn't want to line up next to my 14' Roush...

Well of course people don't buy a 4x4 screw with the 3.7/4.6/5.4 to do stuff like that.

Default Curious to what the 0-60 time was myself for 2014 5.0

I have a 2014 2wd scab with the 5.0 and could not find answer on the internet.
all that is listed is the ecoboost. At least for 2014. Although the times are irrelevant in the real world because you will never need to go from a dead stop to 60. Some off us just like stats and figures. Yes I bought my truck because it was cheap, big, fast, lots of hp and utilitarian. Chrysler LX cars weigh over 4k.
