I have the fabtech 4 in basic on my truck and I love it. You stack the 2.25 in block with your factory 4x4 block to give 3.5 total in the rear which sits perfect!

I'd go with the rancho kit. I'm leaning towards that or the mccaughys kit but that's 6.5 lol

I have the Rancho 4in and love it, it's more of 5.25 in the front and 3.5 in the back. I am running 33s and it doesn't look bad at all, Odd but no too noticeable. The awesome thing about the Rancho lifts is that the 4 and 6in are the same kit, the only difference is the longer lift blocks and the longer struts. I plan to go with the longer lift blocks and struts as I want to run 37s eventually and do a regear. The Rancho kit's are more expensive but you get the quality and versatility of them as well.

So you stacked your blocks? Is that kit made to stack and/or use single so you have the choice with the same block versus some kits letting you pick a 2 or 4 inch block for prerunner or normal stance?

They are meant to stack.

Okay. I am not a math major, but consider myself pretty good in that area as well and mechanical issues. I am not getting this (I have never done a lift).

I hear people talk about Fabtechs/BDS/etc and Fabtech is one of the better/more popular lifts. I am not getting this rear block issue because I don't see all these pics of trucks with these lifts sitting in a tail low stance.

I just went out to confirm and I have a 1.5 inch block on the rear of my truck. I measured and if I remove that block and put in the one that comes with the Fabtech kit then my rear fender will be 41 inches high at center, but my front will be 42.5. That is a tail low ride to me and by 1.5 inches.

The installation instructions do now show or say to stack the blocks so how is it that my truck is supposed to sit level according to them. Other companies offer 2 and 4 inch blocks or 4 and 5 inch blocks to give prerunner or slight OE rake setup. That I can understand, but I can't understand Fabtech's.

Am I missing something, or does everybody that buy Fabtech (or most of them) put AAL on or stack the blocks?

Please help if you can.

The 4" fabtech with the dirt logic coilovers looks like a good kit. Does anybody know how those coilovers compare to like fox, icon or camburg?

Our trucks sit tail high in stock form by 1 to 2.5 inches . Most lifts make your truck sit level or slightly high in the rear .

I also heard the rancho was taller than the other 4in lifts.
