Default 37's on a 2013? HELP!

hey guys this is my first post on this forum so I'm a huge noob and hope im posting in the right section.

I bought a 2013 fx4 a few months ago and did a leveling kit and 33's when the truck had 500 miles on it. just rolled 5,000 and coming from a lifted powerstroke this truck is just to small for my taste.

I'm looking to do a 6-8" lift on 37's. but i don't want to destroy the transmission on my brand new truck! I'm 22 and don't have the money to replace a trans in 10,000 miles....I was planning on re-gearing to 4.88's hoping to save the trans and get the MPG's somewhere close to stock

any suggestions? or input would be great!
thanks guys!

Brand new truck... 6-8" Lift with 37's and you're worried about a transmission? Did your FX4 come with 4.10 or 3.73 gears?

I've ran 3.73 and 35's for almost 2yrs now.. 4.88's will definitely give you power...

I would go with 4.10 or 4.56 gears. I think the 4.88's would be a bit to low.

sick of buying used trucks, then having to fix problems created by other people who neglect maintenance. I use my truck as a truck and need something i can fully trust. there's no better feeling then knowing that your truck has been taken care of properly
