Still doesn't answer my question. "Trucks design", what's different? I understand it has a lot of bells and whistles. But it's still a f150 on the same chassis so? Wheels tires brakes suspension, what limits it?

I'm wondering if it's sidewall? The fx4 with 20's wasn't always available in max tow either.

That's my point. The weight rating on the 275 45 22 is 2469 per tire. The weight rating on a 305 45 22 is 2916. 450 difference or 1800 for all 4. I'm not looking to tow 10k with this thing, maybe 6k. Truck has larger Trans cooler, tow/haul and trailer brakes from factory so I can't imagine that means no towing. Again I know it has 22s but the wheels can handle the weight my concern is the tires. Maybe the harley has a softer rear spring?

Harley F150's sit lower so suspension might be one, mainly springs another big one is all your bells and whistles subtract from payload.

Ok so the springs are softer. I'll have to search around, mine is 4x4 and seems to sit like the rest of the 4x4s around me.
I guess I'll have to hook up the trailer and see if it squats. Still think tires would help due to increased capacity. Plus like I said before I want a slightly more aggressive tire, not a mud tire.
So if there are anymore people with 305 45 22 tires on their trucks please post. Thanks

Street Queen? Bling?
She tows everything effortlessly( big boat, horse trailers, and cars.)
I don't spend a lot of time in Baja and my daily commute doesn't include mud pits.
If that makes my truck a street queen.... Oh well lol

Your HD F150 will haul anything like any other 1/2 ton pickup. If it can't you probably need a 3/4ton/diesel.

Put the 305/45/22 AT's on it IMO. Will look badass and give you the look you're going for.

Although I haven't towed with it yet I have to believe the above statements to be true. Is it the most ideal truck to tow with, no. Do I think the 275 45 22 tires are up to the task, probably not. That's why I want to change. Hankook makes a 305 45 22 in an a/t that looks like it would fit what I'm looking for.
Any other 305 45 22 opinions and pics? Thanks

a 285/50/22 is another size to consider. 33x12.50r22 if you want an even more aggressive toyo MT

Don't want a mud tire. Way more street/ hwy use than offroad in this truck. I may even get a non a/t 305 45 tire but I still like the look of the a/t and knowing if I need it it's there.
