Default 3"-4" lifts

I am looking to do a moderate lift on my truck. I want to stick with 3", maybe up to 4". I have an almost 2 year old and a 2 month old so I don't want my truck to be so high that getting them in and out of their car seats becomes a challenge. What has worked for everyone?

Do you have a 2wd or 4wd?

You can go with Bajakits Chase Kit!

The 2WD comes with the Spindles.

I went with a Rough Country 4" lift and getting in could be a challenge for the vertically challenged except that I also added Amp Research power running boards. They make it very easy to get in and out and safer compared to the oem nerf bars it came with.

I'm also 2wd.

This is the kit I used, http://www.roughcountry.com/ford-sus...it-572-20.html

I see they dropped the price since I got it, I paid $999.00.

Also went with a 4" from RC. Been on the truck for a little over a year now. I run 295/70 Nittos also a 2wd.

Good deal I'm pretty much sold on this kit. Thanks for the input!

Since you have an FX2, I'd take a look at this option as well. The only downside that concerns me is that you are adding 0.5" width on each side

I've been on the fence about the RC lift as well, but if all goes right the MaxTrac spindles should be around $500. Add a set of blocks and you should be under $750 total.
