Default 2nd New Engine

So after 4 months of my truck at the dealership(warranty job). The only dealership that wold work on it was 1 1/2 drive from me.I finally got my truck back yesterday. The truck went in Sat Dec 1 2018.I had to fight with Ford about the warranty after 3 weeks they decided to replace the engine. The 1st replacement engine was done and I got my truck back Jan 12 2019.I had it for 2 days the timing chain let go.Sent the truck back again Ford waited till Feb 14 to ok the engine again.I got the truck back yesterday again codes coming up all over the place 8 of them.
Anyone else ever have a problem like this

Sounds like a crappy dealership. Although, codes could just be old or something. One issue will spawn all sorts of communication errors.

After all the years I have had this truck this is the first major warranty issue.I have 8000 km left on my extended warranty. The main fight was over the lift. The dealership was very helpfully in getting it done(warranty claim). The dealership that I have been buying from for the last 20 years was of no help in any way.The 3 dealerships that are less than a 10 min drive each did not even want to touch it.I find it funny that the local dealers onlydid small warranty repairs.Afew other guys I know have had problems with them also(Fraser Ford,Marigold Ford,Formula Ford and Eastcourt Ford all are useless Fu--k---s
My sons coming over later With his Snap On diagnostic tablet to get all the codes and do what he can. have I got a rib injury so I can not do much right know.

I doubt anybody on here has had 2 brand new motors replaced by Ford in 4 months.

After market parts should not impact warranty work unless it’s dictrety related

Sorry to hear about you experience!

Good luck and heal up!

Ford was trying to argue that the lift was the cause. On the orginal motor it was the crank bearing on rods 7-8 that went.On the second engine the check engine light came on just as I was getting back from Home Depot. The code was for a miss fire cylinder 7.I was going out later and it would not start it just cranked. The dealership had it towed back to them. They found the timing chain tensioner let go and made a hole in block.I haver a video of the knock but I can not get it uploaded .
