Just watched a bunch of the videos from the 2016 CES show. If you haven't seen the new radios check out the new Kenwood DNX893S nav unit. Also Pioneer radios are getting gauges (finally) check out the new AVIC-8200NEX.

I am probably going to go with the Kenwood unit when they come out. I really like the fluid look of the icons on the screen. They also upgraded the ram and processor so hopefully its as quick as they claim.

 

893s, looks very nice. Android auto, and apple carplay should be welcomed by many.

 

So this means deals on 2015 models?

 

None that Ive noticed yet, as the 2016s arent for sale as of yet. But discounts should be coming...

 

I have been eyeing that one thread since day one, and was in on hte OG one with you lol. Just waiting on a deal.

I know the new units will probably hit the market in March. That's when they came out last year. So look for last year's models to go on sale then.

 

Ugh now I have to figure out which one I want by march and a back up one incase its sold out.

 

Get a refurb'ed 892. Cost me 799.99 in Augast vs. 1199.99 new. You may find one for 599.99 or less, when they discount them.

Only difference was mine was in a plain cardboard box, came with every included accessory new in plastic bag. Looked like it was new, no scratches nothing...
