From what I've read, the 2014/15 F150 will be a bit smaller and lighter with aluminum panels etc. CAFE standards will turn this great truck into an oversized Ranger.

Why would you want a baby powerstroke that makes less power than the EB?

better fuel economy with still very capable towing ability. Plus, look at the power potential today's diesels have with just tuning.

I hope they reveal the whole thing...that way If I don't like it I'll spring for a 2013 and be happy until it's time for a new truck.

That's my plan. I will wait until 2014 when they start rolling out the 2015s and if this new breed is not a must have for me, then I will pick me up a 2014 on clearance.

Now that I've had the 3.5 EB, I'm very satisfied. I used to drive Jetta TDI and don't miss the maintenence bills for the diesel.

What you gain in fuel economy, you'll lose in fuel prices, and the initial price tag Im sure will be quite a bit higher. Now you have a good point on the tuning aspect of it though.
