Default 2015 bed cover on 2014??

I've seen a few threads going the other way but I've got a good deal on 2015 bed cover same length 6.5ft just newer body style. I'm curious if it'll fit before I buy it.

I can't give the direct answer you want, and i know you said you already saw others saying the other way around works, but I wanted to share my particular experience. I had a Bestop (hated that thing since i bought it so I just ditched it for a truxedo) for my 12 raptor, then had it on my 17 XLT, and now it's on a co-workers 14. It stands to reason that one made for my 17 should also work on the 12 and 14, but I know that is what you are trying to confirm.

Lol yes I can use a tape measure the person has it listed on sale site and was just checking here to see if it had been done yet. They live about 60 miles away but only want 80 for the tri fold flip cover in the box. They ordered it and lost the truck before installing it. I've been wanting one but been looking cheap first.

thanks this kinda confirms that the bed dimensions were very close on these. I was just curious cause I had a 2017 as a rental and the bed seemed different than my 2014. The 2017 was nice though I liked the layout and style just iffy on the aluminum (I have a bad habit of bumping things like signs and poles plus I have 5 deer hits total so I like to be reassured by steel)

Pop into your local Ford dealer and do some measuring. It's the only way to be sure before you head out on a road trip.

It's $80, buy it and if it doesn't work flip it.

That's what I'm thinking--for $80, I'd take a flyer on it. If it's in good shape, it shouldn't be too hard to get your money back out of it if it doesn't fit to your satisfaction.

Yeah that's my thought if it doesn't work I'll just resell it. They claim it's in the original box with all parts so shouldn't be hard.
