I had some issues with the paint in the same areas. Ford repainted the entire door. They took pictures and sent to ford and then painted.

I'd much rather live with relatively minor factory baked-on orange peel or roughness than have bodyshop unnecessarily refinish with less durable air dry paint.

Ok Guys, up on inspecting my truck after washing it today. I saw a lot of little chips all over the place. Plus some areas where it looks like the clear coat is developing some bubbles.

Now my question is, would this be covered under warranty any? All the little chips are all identical. And the bubbling clear coat looks strange. Not really sure if a picture will show it since it is so small. Guess I should try, but man what a drag it has been since I got this truck.

Answer: Yes. My 2014 rolled off the assembly line late last fall from the Kansas City Plant. When I first washed/waxed, I noticed several paint imperfections (including a paint drip). I promptly took it back to the dealer and they fixed all the problems. The dealer had to repaint the front fender, and they did an excellent job--you cannot see the difference between the repainted fender and the OEM paint. Other imperfections were detailed-out. It took over a week to get everything fixed.

Update- Clay barred the truck over the weekend and it came out just like new. Was really impressed by this as I had never used one before. Layed a good coat of wax on it after, as was suggested here and its all good again. Thanks to all who posted to help, much appreciated.
