Default 2013's to get keyless entry?

Anyone heard anything about this. I read a tweet from FOMOCO about that it might be a feature XLT and up to have it.

Anyone else heard anything.

It is pretty much a standard feature, has been since the late 90's when it ceased to be a luxury feature.

I think he may be referring to keyless start, and honestly, I don't really care about that. My wife's Taurus SHO has it.

X2 on the key less key fobs, but they're the most annoyiong thing out there. My moms caddy has it and if you leave them in the car the thing honks at you.

your talking about the keypad below the door handle that they use to charge $75 for. It will be standard on the xlt model for 2013.

Yeah, the whole 'keyless' deal, where you have some sort of "smart key" with push button start, yada yada yada, is basically an overhyped crock of fecal matter. My wife's new Mazda 6 has it and it is THE single most annoying and loathed feature of the vehicle. God praise Ford for its touchpad entry system, that alone is worth buying a Ford product for.
We are seriously considering trading the 6, which is an awesome car, for either an SHO or an Edge, due mainly to the friggin' annoyance of the smart key. Seriously it is the most useless feature ever put on a car.

Looks like the FX and Lariat can have remote start added as options. It comes standards on King Ranch and up. Looks like the Limited is the only F150 to get MyKey. If by "keyless entry" you mean you don't have to push any buttons on the key fob, then I'm not sure if the F150's are getting that or not. My wife's 2013 Edge Limited has that feature, and it's pretty cool. Don't ever have to touch your keys or key fob. Just walk up to the door, touch the handle, and it unlocks. I wouldn't mind seeing that feature on the new trucks.
