I'm from New Orleans and don't think I have a accent. I have never been able to get the voice control for the NAV to understand me. Only thing she understands is when I tell her to turn the radio on.
Sucks having to pull over to punch in a address. I have found that it allows you to select previous destinations while driving thou, which helps a lot!

So far my navigation has been spot on. I did give up trying to use voice control.
Apparently a Boston accent is too much to compute.
Not the unbelievably bad accent in movies, btw. We're not all born in Southie or a Kennedy.

I do find myself trying to enunciate properly when talking to that crazy be-otch. Aggravating.

Version.txt gives the date as 8-13-2012. My 2013 was manufactured 9-2012. So, coming up on the database being two years old and it's obviously a big one.

Finally, the parts guy calls back: $141.90. No more free map updates (they didn't know about that, either). No mention of A5 on the owner/SYNC/MFT site (again, didn't know); no update notification via email.
Was this thing released by the CIA?
My nav maps are fine unless US93 magically moves.
Sincerely, copy protection

And you have to pay for updates? I thought they were free for 2 or 3 years or something...interesting.
