Ok and thank you. I have been trying but for some reason my app on my phone is not working and neither is the site online. I tried posting pictures trying to sell some stuff but it didn't work.

Check your SD card in your center console and see if it says A4 or A5 on the card. If it is A4, then you can search online for the new A5 and buy it there. No need to get ripped by the dealer when all you have to do is install the card and it works.

When did A5 become available?

www.navigation.com/ford indicates my version (A4) is the latest. Have not received email notification of any updates, as happened within a month after purchase.

So I can buy a Garmin for $150 with lifetime updates for free but Ford expects customers to buy updates after spending $900 for Nav? Lmao

As it is I think this Nav is the worst I've ever used in any vehicle I've ever owned. That was my feeling BEFORE I drove to Columbia SC last week looking for a new home. The whole week my Nav malfunctioned and constantly showed the arrow no where near the road I was on. It had been tracking fine until last week when I needed it most. Great product Microsoft

I use the navigation on my cell phone, works great, doesn't cost anything for updates and gets me where I want to go.

All of that and I can make phone calls, take pictures 12MP no less, play games, run diagnostics on OBD2 vehicles, listen to streaming music, watch movies, surf the web, send and receive email, and a hundred thousand other things, there's an app for everything with Android.

Wait till you use the voice commands. It's so frustrating. It never gets my commands right.

BTW, I've never had a problem with the Nav. in my truck. Works fine, takes me where I want to go, and can understands my southern accent very well. If you think this one is bad you should try one in a GM car from the mid 2000's. Got one, sux really bad.
