I replaced my lead frame in my 2013 F150 in March 2023. It was part of the recall, and the service was done for free. Fast forward to today. I’ve put about 1000 miles on the car and I’m having the same issue with the lead frame. Ford is telling me that they have a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on the recalled replacement part. They want to charge me $1500 for a new lead frame. Has anyone else had an issue with their replacement lead frame being bad and not lasting a year and a half or 1000 miles. it seems to me that they lead frames are still subpar.

 

I replaced mine about 1.5 years ago. So far so good, so fingers crossed. I used a ford part and did it myself at home, but it's been good since then.

 

cant offer any help but that seems ridiculous.
