The second part we'll have to figure out is where the P/N from the TSB comes in. So here's where we stand now:

Latest TSB 12-10-19: BL3Z-6K775-B
2013 Factory (Dec build): DL34-9L440-AC
2012 Factory part: <unknown>
Mine is a 2011 XLT and I have not had the intercooler replaced or the deflector shield added. It is all still original. I have 31,000 miles on my truck and I have had the misfire on acceleration, but not the limp mode(fall on face) and no CEL.

Toddman, I noticed your new title Ecofixed?? I am starting to think my 2013 is not Ecofixed?? This is when you need a true Ford engineer to come on sites like this and settle the issue by providing accurate and informative answers to there customers to settle this uncertainty. On other sites I have seen and been on the owners of large companies actually take part of the discussions and answer questions from there customers. To bad this site doesnt encourage Ford to do the same.

I'm on a few Forum's and there are usually manufacturers reps or engineers that monitor forums and respond to issues.

On one forum, I complained about my vette about being in the shop for a unique issue that the service center couldn't resolve. A guy that I suspected was somehow attached to GM responded and knew exactly what dealer my car was at and the problem I had. That was freaky, they're on the forums.

Surprised that there isn't one on this forum and if there is, hasn't stepped up to respond to all of theses Ecoboost issues.

This way they know which IC and where its going. I am guessing of course but knowing this is the key to knowing if the DL needs to be replace or its the same.
That's a valid point. I think it depends on what a 2012 or early 2013 owner comes back with as their factory P/N before any TSBs.

Ok, so now here's the latest on what we know:

Latest TSB 12-10-19:
BL3Z-6K775-B
2013 Factory (Dec 18th build): DL34-9L440-AC
2013 Factory (Pre 9/18): <unknown>
2012 Factory part: <unknown, suspected to be same as 2011>
2011 Factory part: BL349L440AB

The theory that Truck Owner posted is possible at this point - the 2013 Factory and TSB parts are the same, only with different part numbers to identify factory vs replacement parts for tracking purposes. This is not yet confirmed.

I doubt you'll see a Ford rep on the site as it's probably not a fix more or less a Band-Aid...

2013's built after 9/18 have a completely different intercooler than 2011/2012 and early 2013's. The tsb intercooler does not fit on the newer 2013's. They are not interchangeable.

It may be good to have someone with a 2013 built pre 9/18 and pre 12/4 (see my earlier post for why 12/4)

Latest TSB 12-10-19: BL3Z-6K775-B
2013 Factory (Dec 18th build): DL34-9L440-AC
2013 Factory (After 9/18 but before 12/3): DL34-9L440-AC (9/20 build date from disguy409)
2013 Factory (Pre 9/18): <unknown>
2012 Factory part: <unknown, suspected to be same as 2011>
2011 Factory part: BL349L440AB

Mine was built on 9/20. I have the dl34-9l440-ac part number. But like I said, the parts are not interchangeable so there is no way for the tsb intercooler to be the same as the newer 2013 intercooler.
