For some reason, cold weather just seems to KILL the EB's mpg......I get 16 to 18 in town in warm weather and below freezing, that drops to 13 to 15, and nothing I can do will get the mpg any higher than that.
Oxygenated winter gas on top of the 10% ethanol in our gas further deteriorates the mpg.

I'm in So Cal and it takes my motor about 15 miles of hiway driving to get the trans at operating temps. It gets lousy fuel economy until it's warm. How long does it take when your temps are as low as freezing or less?

Seems to take about the same amount of time, but the trans always runs at about 3/4 of the temp of summer.
On the highway, it will get up to the usual 192 degrees after about 20 miles.
