2012 whiper fluid doesnt work

Default 2012 whiper fluid doesnt work

So today I tried my whiper fluid and nothing came out. The whiper blades went but no fluid came out. I checked the fluid and it's full. Any ideas?

Is it cold out? I find that mine is constantly freezing up in cold weather.. It's rather annoying especially when the roads are slushy with salt and snow.

Well I live up in Canada and it's been like -50 with the windshield but the last couple days have been a lot warmer. I'm going to hope to get it into a shop this weekend and see if that helps

Not nearly as cold here but last week hit about -15… mine didn't work and were frozen. Put it into my heated garage and the next morning everything was good. Guess I need to use a better product that can take colder temps..

I stopped using the standard blue juice years ago, when Rain-X came out with the orange juice. It was -20* F, this past weekend, and mine worked fine. Never had the truck in anything colder than that though. Plus, you get all the standard Rain-X benefits to go along with it.

The standard Rain-X All Season is only good to 0*F, but the Rain-X 2-in-1 and the RainX De-icer are both effective down to -25*F. I'm going to Toronto next week, and Edmonton and Winnipeg in February. People say anything below 0 degrees is all the same. I can assure you... that's not true. It gets WAAAAY worse than 0 degrees.

It's happened to me a few times too. Once on the way to Banff on Highway 2 in a shush storm. Pulled into red deer and sat for a while with the motor running checking every few mins. After about 15 mins they started working again and worked the rest of the trip to banff.

Agreed I put regular prestone window washer fluid in mine, and anything under 25 degrees it freezes up! Gotta stop this weekend and pickup something rated for the freezing weather we've been getting!

I put this in mine every fall. If you have room in the reservoir, add some of this and it will help melt the frozen stuff that's already in there.

I haven't seen that before. Looks like it works down to about -34* F. That's pretty damn good. I'll have to find some locally, and try it out. Thanks for sharing!

If the washer fluid freezes too hard, it can cost you a new wiper pump... Rain X also makes a -45 version
