Question 2012 Lariat Backup Camera Issues

Hi All. I have been reading all kinds of posts here and have yet to find the answer I am looking for. My problem is is that my backup sensors and factory camera are not working. I pulled the U0159 code which is the PAM communication error. I believe I have a ground issue some where. Does anyone know the ground locations for the wiring to the rear harness? I have already checked the connector above the spare tire and the one close to the bumper and nothing has changed. I think it may be upstream a little further. I have already replaced the factory camera with an aftermarket and that one worked for a while then quit working on me.

Any help is appreciated.

Two body/frame grounds under the front doors, pull, de-corrode and replace with dielectric grease.

Could you elaborate a little more? Are you talking inside or outside the vehicle? In the kick panels in the front?

Outside, underneath where your feet would be.

Thanks for the direction. I looked all around underneath on both sides and couldn't the the ground contacts you are talking about. Sounds like I need to do some more digging.

Welp... Got this problem taken care of. The replacement camera I had, shorted out and melted the fuse but didn't blow the fuse. New camera and new fuse in and we're golden. Still no reason as to why the replacement camera shorted out.
