2012 FX2 Suspension Help..
I need y'alls help to figure this out..
I have a 2012 FX2 with tow package. I put a 2.5" spacer on the front struts which brought it to completely level. Then I put a Frontier grille guard on it and it pulled the front back down about 3/4". The guard only weighs 120lbs so it really surprised me that it pulled the nose down that much. I was expecting the springs to support it much better than they did.
So here is where I need help - I want to keep the guard but I also want my truck back to level bc I want to run 33" ATs on my stock 20s. I've considered a 3" spacer but I have heard they can cause tons of issues with the joints on the front suspension so I'd like to stay away from that route.. but what other options do I have to accomplish this?
Any input y'all can provide here will be much appreciated

I ran 33s without a level.. If its only down 3/4", then you should have no problems running a 33" tire

So my deduction is that my only choice is continue going up. I know I could go with a 3" or 4" BDS lift kit, but that's way more than I want/need and will just incline me to spend even more on bigger tires, etc lol

Are you talking about 33s on your FX4? From what I have read in posts on here, a stock 4x4 provides about 2" more wheel well clearance and will fit 33s no problem. But that a stock 2wd will require at least a 2/2.5" level to fit 33s.

So, the tires should fit no problem.
But what can I do about getting it back to level?
Could it be as simple as replacing my 2wd strut assemblies with some from a 4wd? Will I need new a-arms, etc?
