I was able to pair my Galaxy S3 up with Ford Sync and it works with phone calls, phone book and streaming music but it says text message support is unavailable?? Anyone figure out how to get text messages to work? I might have to have my 14 yo kid figure it out after work! LOL!

Tried but still no go...It has to be something with the MAP settings? My phone never asked permission to allow Sync to access MAP. I may have to disconnect and/or unpair and try it all over again.

 

I didnt think the older Sync's had that feature but there is a screen for it. I thought only the new Sync/My Ford Touch had the feature to read and send texts. I could be wrong cuz my 11 has the text option but when I try to use it, its says the same thing.
