moses33: you're in Tyler? Shop around DFW via email. Mac Haik in DeSoto sold me one for $2,122 under Invoice price, plus the $3K in Ford rebates I qualified for. FiveStar Ford was around $1,000 below Invoice, and Grapevine Ford was $1,200 under invoice.

But, that was at the end of the month (Sept) so they all were in the running for some end of month/quarter sales bonuses, which made them more aggressive in pricing. Don't buy at the beginning of the month, ever. You'll never get the best deal.

to the OP. I could buy that truck all day long here in Houston until they run out for $32,500 - 33,000 and possibly less, but may be a bit tougher.

I don't know how you all do it. I have been emailing dealers for a month now. Best price I have got has been $5k off MSRP before rebates so $8k after rebates. Not a dollar more. No idea how you guys can get another $2k off.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've told 12+ dealerships what I am looking for and the price I am willing to pay and they have not budged/negotiated one bit. I've even shown them other dealerships with a price I'm willing to accept, but no dice.

well now its the first of the month. you may not get rock bottom till last week of month. idk.

I had no problem getting a low price here in Houston, all of em via email. email a dealer in houston (planet ford 45/59 sucks *****) but try Mack Haik or Champion Katy, they will quote ya.

Sad i am in illinois so the great texas deals seem to be a pipe dream up here. Worse comes to worse buying a 2013 at invoice next week that I already have numbers for.

I spent $40 for this:

Ended up saving at least $500-1000 more than if I had not used this method. I have used it twice, and highly recommend it. Gives you more details on the method I described above and the complete ins/outs of negotiating with dealerships.
