Question 2012 FX2 EcoBoost Pricing Evaluation

I received a quote of $35430.25 + TTL with FMCC on this truck:

http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...04&modelid=268

The salesman said the above quote is invoice minus rebates. Does that sound accurate? If not, what range (Good, Better, Best) should I be looking for if I am going to buy within the next week?

He can do better than that. I got 10,000 off msrp as advertised. I have read that some were able to get more off. IMO no deal.

Just bought an FX4 last week for $2100 under invoice, minus Ford rebates.

You can do better. Try to get them down to 33.

I found one at $33,800 and sent it to the salesman that quoted the above price and he replied:
"SIR THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT OUR TRUCKS LIST FOR THE SAME THING THAT LOSES WAY TO MUCH MONEY SEND ME THE VIN ON THERES
AND WE CAN COMPARE"

We'll see what he says after I send him the VIN. Thanks for the help, guys.

On August 16th I purchased my 2012 FX2 Eco that had an MSRP of $42,820. I paid $32,070 after rebates, plus tax, title, etc.... I did not have a trade, so my price was as real as you can get. Unless rebates are substantially less now (unlikely), He has plenty of room to move.

These guys sell 2012 F150s at $10K off sticker all day. This is where I picked up my FX4. You don't even have to negotiate. Your salesman is lying.

I bought almost the same truck. Only difference is mine has the 157" WB and smaller rims. I paid $31,750 here in Houston.
