I found out the body harness, back connector is a molex MX150. I think the socket pin number is 0330122004. I ordered some and hope these are it? I think they are.......

- Pins for the tail light harness where it connects to the body harness

I havent had much luck finding out what I need or where i could possibly order them from. Any insight would be appreciated. A few pins is a lot better to me than ordering whole new harnesses. I am using an aftermarket camera so I will not need the standard camera plug.

Thanks,
Jeff

edit; should also probably mention its a 2012 xlt

Installed the head liner harness. Cost 56 bucks. I figured it was easier than adding the camera wires.
This new harness has so many more plugs and wires. There is an additional plug in the rear now and there is a receptical for it in the truck , not sure why so many wires????? now the new harness plugs into two plugs in back instead of one, there are the two lights, the mic and mirror connectors all original. I now have a new plug in front middle that plugs into nothing? and two more little plugs that look like it would be for powering up lighted vanity mirrors? which I do not have right now. I wonder what the big plug is for in the middle by the mirror?????

Have it installed. Just purchased the back harness, headline harness, camera, pins and ran wires. Installed everything and it works...... It did not need to be enabled to work.... Pic doesn't do it justice but it's clear and I'm very happy with how it looks...
No guide lines or zoom but i'm trying to get the answer on how to enable it. I have a ford tech that is helping out. I have the mirror not gps version screen.

Anyone know what module the data is locted? If we know that the tech might be able to copy from another vin truck to mine...

Thanks

Brilliant, I have a couple of questions. I'm looking into doing this myself. First, do you have compass readout in the dash? Also, what rear view mirror did you buy? Thanks for sharing all of the information from your install!

Compass readout is in the dash and works. Mirror part number??? it is from a 2011 truck and says RVD/Compass on the back. I can probalby get the number off the back when I get home. I think the important thing is 2011 or 2012 and the RVD/Compass.

Could someone compile a complete parts list to accomplish this? I'd LOVE to do this on my 2012 XLT. I am sorry I did not opt for the factory option.
