Default 2012 5.0 flex

New to those forum but looking at a used 2012 F150 with the 5.0 FF.
130K. Would mainly be used as a daily driver 25 miles a day and the 4wd for winter.
Just wanted to get feedback since it's been years I've owned a F150.
Stealership wants around 12K for it.
Let me know what yall think when it comes to price, maintenance, issues that may arise and with proper care from here on out how many more miles I could get out of it.
Thanks yall

Welcome, as an owner of a 13 with 167K on it, I am having a "miss" that could be attributed to the known valve issues for this engine. I would ask the dealer to do a leakdown and compression tests.

OK thanks bud. I will definitely inquire about it.
And I thot all 5.0's in that gen and now generation of trucks were cyotie engines but didn't know they made a flex fuel variant ?

looks nice. I paid 19k for my 2013 a year ago with 124k on it. It's a nice truck to be sure. Prices have really dropped in the past year.

Yep mine is a flex fuel, but I have never used it. I did once in a Tahoe and it never ran the same after that!

Ya I actually never knew that the cyoti motors in the f150's were flex fuel. Last f150 I had was the trusted 5.4 Triton.

So on these gen F150's with the 5.0 is there a throttle lag or they actually fo have some get up and go when it's needed?

I have some lag if i stomp on it. There is a procedure you can do. A turn on key, stomp pedal a couple times and turn on truck or something
