I don't know much about automatic transmissions but that doesn't seem right. How do you guys tell if the tranny is sliping?
Thats not slipping, thats the tranny warming up. Torque converter doesn't lock until it reaches 105 degrees. Found this out by noticing the same thing, then I switched to the trans temp screen on the LCD and once it hit 105 degrees the torque converter locks and the RPMs go down.

Sounds like the anti drainback valve is letting the oil run out of the converter when it sits. next time you start it let it idle for about 30 seconds before you put it in gear that will give it time to refill the converter. if this corects it the the valve is bad

My 2011 also does this after it sits for 24 hours. Does it in reverse or forward.
Try to take it to the dealer next week.

Mine does this when shifting to 6th gear. It slips. Brand new truck. Un freaking believable. I had a 65 pontiac with the original trans and it never slipped. Great job ford. FU!

Took my truck to the dealer today. Service manager said there is a tsb for this problem. Need to replace 2 solenoids in the transmission. I will post the tsb when I get my truck back tomorrow.
