I was in the same dilemma. VERY loud for an A/T tire. For having such incredible sound deadening they sure transmitted some serious road noise into the cabin. I never remember them being that loud when the truck was new. I was all choked up about replacing the tires so early too until I got fed up with the ice performance of them. Decided it was time for a change. I have a feeling replacing these damn things will be the best decision I ever made. (that and upcoming retrofits lol)

My 2012 Scab XL is doing the same thing on the front with almost 4k on the truck. The outside is wearing bad. I'll be visiting the dealer about this when I hit 5k miles and get my oil changed.

They are the cheap Hankook Dynapro A/T RF08

Just thought I'd chime in with a different story. I can't believe how well my Scorpions are wearing. Took the truck in for the 30k service today and the tires are all at either 9/32 or 8/32 ( new spec is 12/32). Tires are rotated every 5k and are still quiet with great dry and wet traction.
I'm wanting them to wear out to justify new 275/65-20s but they seem to be bulletproof.
I do run them at around 40psi constantly, so I wonder if folks having trouble with them are running at a lower pressure
