My speedometer displays my speed and the signs on the side of the road display the legal speed limit. Not to pick on you, but have we gotten to the point that we rely that much on technology? I am 33 and pretty 'tech savvy' but what we are complaining about here is pretty petty in my opinion, and we all know what they say about opinions.

I bet most of the folks that made negative comments about the nav mph request don't even have the factory navigation in their vehicles.
I understand people wanting improvements and wishing for things but something as small as a mph on a gps system while you have a gauge cluster for that exact reason is rediculous... im not trying to be negative on this forum but i hate when people complain about minor crap. BTW i have the factory nav. unit and theres nothing to brag about with it, so your point failed...

I have a few questions for the people that are complaining about the lack of digital speed read out and limit. Did you not test drive, look at the information, or ask any questions about the $30K-$60k truck you purchased? Did you not ask the sales person if the nav had this ability? Or did you just buy the truck without any research?

If it is really that big of a issue get an aftermarket system or get a vehicle that has the features you want. If Ford or any manufacturer added every single option, every single gadget, every little dohickey, how much do you think your truck would cost? I mean you can buy a maybach that probably has a digital readout in the nav, along with a refrigerator too!

My point did not fail..... I said "most" folks that disagree don't have the factory navigation. So you don't fit my statement, doesn't mean that my point is invalid.

Sadly you and other view this as a weak subject that doesn't deserve time on this forum. none of my comments for this topic were ever complaining. No doubt some did complain. Ford is the "creature feature" king when it comes to trucks, this is a tiny critique. Sadly, this tiny critique is irritating to some......

Really.........I sounds like you knew every little detail and function of you truck before you purchased it. You must be one gifted individual! I along with many others are not that gifted, it took me some time to learn the details and features of my truck, after I purchased it.

We all have little critiques and complaints about different items on our trucks. Doesn't mean that we are not proud to own them and are overall satisfied with the truck.

Maybe we should also have Heads Up Display, in color!
And the shifter should be like the joystick in a jet fighter.
Give it a break, complain about something you already brought?. Too late.
Do research on your next purchase. I haven't seen this many whiners even on the Mercedes or Lamborghini forum.

Knight Riders Kit could not only display drive speed redundantly, but It could drive on 2 wheels, print money, and even tilt a casinos roulette table. Setting aside the fact that I'm talking about a 30 something your old Pontiac, its safe to say Ford really dropped the ball on this one...
