Default 2011 Lariat Door Blend Replacement Issue

I have a 2011 lariat with dual zone that suddenly had the passenger side air stop blowing cold and only blowing warm air. Research pointed to a passenger side door blend actuator.

I have taken out the radio and remove both screws from the actuator. The problem is there is no room for the actuator to pull up in order to get it out. Screws and connector are removed but it just doesn't have the room. I have watched many videos and all of them do not have the space issues that I have. I am not sure if this is related to dual zone or what.

Any ideas? is there something else i need to remove to get the dual zone passenger side door blend actuator out?

thanks for any help yall can provide.

The vid I watched a while back the guy pulled the two front seats and entire dash/center console. He was doing the one on the driver's side though. Maybe that's not needed for the passenger side. I will renew my motorcraft subscription and look in a while if I don't have to run to a job site

Default Harley Edt HVAC

I have a 2011 Harley Ed same as lariat...

My Dual zone is having similar issues.

Passenger side is working properly, DS generaly blows what every temp of air is outside.

DS& PS set to AC cold Driverside will blow hot air

DS & PS set to blow hot air - Driverside will blow cold outside air.

It is this way for all vents on driverside. Defrost, vents and floor...

Very interested to see your outcomes...

I am in Canada and we will get snow in a month and a half and this will be an issue.

Did you have to remove the dash?

Was is it just seats, center console and below the radio?

Also how much was the part.
