Default 2011 jerking

I have a 2011 fx4 screw 5.0. Noticed recently when I start the truck and go from park to drive it jerks forward. The other day it did it really bad. And it's not just when I start it and immediately put it in drive like it's still revving high from just starting. It did this morning after running a while with the remote start. Any ideas?

Check your RPM's. Some trucks don't idle well, and over time changes in your RPM. Normally they run at idle around 500 i think. Not 100% sure, but darn close to that.

My EcoBoost was doing it and took it back and they fixed it. They said it was running at high RPM.

How many miles are on your truck, fx4searles? Have you brought this to the attention of your dealer? Let me know and I'll research ways to help.

Hello crystal. Thanks for reaching. I haven't taken it to the dealer yet because I have a extended warranty with 100 dollar deductible and I have a whole list of new things that need attention that have popped up in the last month :/. It has 57000 miles on and has been serviced exclusively at ford dealerships. Along with the jerking in the last month I've noticed a feeling of getting rear ended when driving slow like in a parking lot(I'm assuming the fix would be like the Tsb for 2 piece driveshafts where they grease the yoke even though I have a one piece), my driverside rear door the wire for the lock mechanism got crimped in the wire harness in the door jam and wouldn't let me lock or unlock(had to rig a temp wire extension cuz my child could open the doors), my driver heated seat stopped working, a ticking noise has become more noticeable from the engine(been told it's normal and it's injectors?), the serpentine belt/pulley has become loud making a hissing noise almost. Sorry the long list but figured I might as well tell you all the issues lol. And just so you know I treat this truck like my 3rd child and baby it lol. Thanks again for reaching out.

What a beautiful truck, fx4searles! Let me know when you want to go to the dealership to have these concerns addressed and I'll get you into the hands of your regional customer service manager. Once you've made your appointment, PM me the details including your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.
