Default 2011 FX4 Ecoboost Ordered

I just ordered a 2011 FX4 Ecoboost Luxury Pkg in white with a 6.5' box and can't wait for it to show up.
I'm currently in a Loaded up 2008 F150 Lariat, and I can't believe how much technology is now in these trucks. The Sync is awesome, took like 2 min to download my 400+ blackberry contacts into one on the lot (sales guy was showing me) and it was easy to do. If I want to do this on my 08 Acura MDX I have to pull out the manual to re-teach myself almost every time. The power of the 5.0 in the FX4 I test drove made my 5.4 feel very unsatisfactory, but I opted to go for the Ecoboost and the Trailer tow package. The dealer is going to install the 2.5/3 Leveling kit when it shows up, and said they'll make me pay the difference to trade the 20" Scorpions up to some Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I'll post pics when it shows up.

Sweet! I am looking to order an FX4 within the next 2 months...was bouncing back and forth between XLT with lots of options, or going with the FX4 that includes most everything I want plus the extras like heated/cooled seats, automatic climate control, etc. Did you get the navigation and the Sony stereo? I am looking into that as well...

I did get the Navigation, and pretty much every other option I could possibly get and it is still 4k cheaper than a Platinum. You don't get the cooled seats with the FX4, I learned that when ordering.

I love the look of the FX4 because the flares break up the body (which is otherwise kinda chunky looking to me) and the blackout headlamps and tails. Not so crazy about the floor console and especially the floor shifter. Or that it ends up being a $39k truck built how I want it. The last one is of course the toughest one to get over.

The FX4 with Luxury Pkg has the same interior as the Lariat, without the fake wood looking panels, they are black.

Thanks for the heads up about the cooled seats. I do notice that now when I read it further in depth.

Is the navigation software made by Garmin? So basically it is like a hand-held Garmin GPS you can buy at the store with their style of mapping, directions, speech, etc. just in the dash now in on bigger screen?

Also, how much room does the subwoofer take up on the floor? If you would be willing to take a picture with the seats up in the back I'd really appreciate it.

I believe the Navigation is a sony product, so no on the Garmin. I haven't received the truck yet, but checking out the trucks on the lot I noticed that there is way more available space in the back with the seats folded up than in my 2008.

Interesting you point that out. I was looking at http://www.fordworksolutions.com/Products/In-Dash and I guess you have to have the Ford Works Solutions package to have the Garmin navigation. I would much rather have that...
