Was talking about a regular corvette not a z06...So all of your reference about your z06's top speed was irrelevant from my first post

In the midwest many roads are 70 mph speed limit with some 75. So if traffic is travelling 15 over (common) that is 85-90 mph.... So just passing someone or even wavering on speed you can hit the limiter.
110 would be better imo.
But the low limiter did save mme once when an *** in rural OK got pissed that I passed him in my minivan and tried to chase me down in his limited f150. I waved at home "Buh Bye" as I accelerated past 100 and he stopped like he hit a wall. Haha....whhooohhh scarey = we were in the middle of nowhere and no cell reception so I got lucky b/c he was crazy and trying to run us off the road.

After a mile or so I felt the truck "buck", or down shift, or back off, however you want to say it. I looked and the speedo said 95.
Now I didn't even know I was going that fast as the ride was so smooth but it has me thinking, is the top speed limited to 100?

I did 145mph 3 times in my 08 titan with bullydog, intake, exhaust, 2.93 gears. With goodyear sra's at 50 psi. Prob not the smartest idea. That was a fun truck tho I try not to rag on my new truck!
