Yeah I remember being able to do 140 in the Stang, no problem but found out really quick you don't want to be playing higher than 90 in a truck. Like mentioned earlier, I was traveling at approximately, 85mph, probably faster than I should have been going and a minivan decided to cut me off (wonder how fast they were going) nearly took off my front end and I had to swerve a bit, The *** end took a long time to recover than what I was used to, kind of scary... Long story short, no reason to go fast in a truck... unless it was built for that and hugging the asphalt.
Come to think of it, the fishtailing scared me a little, the Missus didn't even wake up :p haha

'11 FX4 SCREW 5.ohh!
Oh yeah, well my 2002 Nissan Sentra 1.8l will do 115 in.....I don't remember but it was a long time, on a long stretch of road going down hill at 5500 rpm.
So there!!
LOL
BTW that's with my 350 lb, 6'2 butt in there.
Yes I get funny looks sometimes when I get out, but usually not for very long, some people think I'm a bit intimidating.

That's why I said "0-120 mph is about 12-13 seconds". I miss my 2003 Z06, it was fun to drive, but it was very loud to ride in on long trips.

Not sure what my next one will be yet.

And they're darned determined that you'll not travel any faster in your truck than THEY think is safe for you.
Thank God for motorbikes. sigh
